Job summary

Billerud is expanding its Global Integration team and seeks an Integration Developer to design, develop, and maintain integration solutions connecting SAP, cloud services, and critical business systems. You will contribute across the lifecycle, collaborate with architects and stakeholders, and help ensure seamless information flows across platforms.

You'll work closely with business units and IT teams, focusing on stability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent education and experience.
• Several years of experience developing integration solutions in complex IT environments.
• Solid experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure services.
• Experience using Azure DevOps and API management.
• Experience with Kubernetes and BizTalk is advantageous.
• Microsoft certifications are advantageous and English + Swedish fluency is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop integration solutions based on approved designs and business requirements.
• Contribute technical expertise throughout the development lifecycle.
• Build, test, and deploy integration solutions across platforms and applications.

As part of Billerud's continued digitalization journey, we are strengthening our Global Integration team and are now looking for an Integration Developer. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of integration solutions that support our global business operations and ensure seamless information flows across platforms and applications.

About the role

As an Integration Developer, you will act as a technical specialist within the Global Integration team. You will work closely with architects, business stakeholders, and other technical experts to develop and maintain integration solutions that connect SAP, cloud services, and other business-critical systems.

You will be involved throughout the lifecycle of integration solutions, from contributing to solution design and development to monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. The role combines hands‑on technical work with collaboration across multiple business and IT functions.

Your main tasks will be:

• Develop integration solutions based on approved designs and business requirements.
• Contribute technical expertise throughout the development lifecycle.
• Build, test, and deploy integration solutions across different platforms and applications.
• Monitor and maintain integration solutions to ensure stability and performance.
• Handle incidents, troubleshooting activities, and service requests related to integrations.
• Identify root causes of issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Participate in the design and development of integration solutions.
• Work closely with architects, business stakeholders, and external partners when required.
• Contribute to technical documentation, standards, and ways of working.

You report to: Manager Global Integration.

While the preferred location for this role is Gävle, the position can alsobe basedinone ofour mills inSweden or our Solna office.

Qualification

To succeed in this position, you have:

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent education and experience.
• Several years of experience developing integration solutions in complex IT environments.
• Solid experience working with Microsoft-based development platforms and technologies.
• Several years of experience developing integration solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in API management and Kubernetes
• Good knowledge of Azure integration services and Azure DevOps.
• Good knowledge of C# development.
• Experience working with BizTalk is considered an advantage.
• Microsoft certifications are considered advantageous.
• Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken, is required.

Please note: You need to have a Swedish work permit to be considered for this position.
