Job summary

DNV, a leading independent expert in assurance and risk management, seeks a Detection Engineer in Malmö to build advanced detection capabilities for SIEM and XDR and to enhance SOC effectiveness.

You will work with Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk and similar tools, write queries in Python/KQL, and collaborate with clients to deliver secure, reliable solutions. English proficiency is required to engage with global teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with SIEM/XDR setups and the Microsoft security stack.
• Ability to write queries or scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell or KQL).
• Customer-focused mindset and strong communication with stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-changing cybersecurity environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced detection rules for SIEM/XDR.
• Collaborate with SOC teams to strengthen client security postures.
• Build and refine automation tools to improve detection and response.
