Embark Studios in Sweden is seeking a Data Scientist to turn game data into commercial growth. You will analyse performance metrics, identify monetization opportunities, and build scalable tooling to support business development and product teams.

You will partner with designers and stakeholders to translate insights into actionable strategies, design dashboards, and accelerate development with AI-assisted workflows. Strong SQL and Python skills are essential, plus a passion for games.

Qualifications

• Strong background in SQL.
• Experience with ETLs and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python for data modelling and large datasets.
• Experience building tooling or interactive dashboards.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest or experience in games.
• Professional English communication skills.

We are looking for a Data Scientist who is passionate about leveraging data to drive commercial success in the gaming industry. In this role, you’ll focus on using analytics to identify growth opportunities, optimise game monetization strategies, support business development initiatives, and build scalable commercial tooling. You’ll partner with game designers, product managers, and business stakeholders to unlock data-driven insights that fuel our business growth and maximize player engagement.
