Job summary

ONNEC Group is seeking a Data Centre Technician to join a Nordic team in Stockholm. You will contribute to high-quality data centre support activities under the guidance of a Site Manager and Project Manager.

Responsibilities include cabling, fibre installation, Wi‑Fi, CCTV, and containment work, with relocation support as needed. Fluency in English and Swedish is required.

  • Carry out patching and upgrades.
  • Participate in data centre relocation projects.
  • Manage adds, moves, and changes within the data centre environment.

Role Overview - Data Centre Technician

As a Data Centre Technician, you will be part of a dedicated team, working under the guidance of a Site Manager and Project Manager. You will contribute to delivering high-quality support activities within data centre halls, ensuring all work is carried out in line with agreed standards.

Key responsibilities:
  • Install structured cabling systems (fibre and copper)
  • Perform fibre optic installation and termination
  • Install Wi-Fi systems
  • Conduct network cabling audits
  • Build data centre cages and pathways

Qualifications and skills:
  • Experience working in a data centre environment
  • Experince from construction site
  • Knowledge of structured cabling systems
  • Fluency in both English and Swedish language (written and spoken)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Team-oriented mindset
