Job summary

Adage in Sweden is seeking a senior data engineer with a strong data architecture background to lead delivery, design scalable data solutions, and collaborate with clients across projects.

You will work in client-led design, pre-sales architectural support, coaching, and innovation, while growing data and analytics capabilities in an international, flat-structured team.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of consulting experience in a data-heavy environment (Data Engineer background).
• Excellent data and analytics architecture background.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Programming experience with Python and SQL.
• Ability to guide, mentor and lead other consultants.

Job description

This is a new role combining the skill of a data engineer with someone who has a data architecture background. This reflects one of the most critical needs we have for our organisation to take the next steps in our growth journey. You should be a senior data engineer, with strong communication skills and with a good technical foundation. You must like to collaborate with colleagues and can build trust with existing and new customers. In this role you will be an integral part of growing Adage by taking responsibility on our critical deliveries.

You Will Work In Four Important Areas

• Client lead – be responsible for our client deliveries including designing, developing and operating good solutions
• Pre-sales – assist with designing architectural solutions for prospective new client sales
• Coaching and leading data engineers – challenge them to improve, helping them solve problems
• Innovation – be curious about the roadmaps for key technologies and apply this knowledge in our sales, deliveries and competence development efforts

What We Are Looking For

• 6+ years of consulting experience working in a data heavy environment, such as a Data Engineer.

• Excellent interpersonal skills – building relationships both internally and with our clients

• Fluency in Swedish
