Job summary

Stegra is offering an Information Security Intern position in Stockholm. You will join the Digital & IT team to learn, experiment, and build hands-on experience in information security, secure development, and AI security during a 6–12 month internship, part-time (50%).

Start date is as soon as possible, with the office located in Stockholm. The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and applying security to real-world cybersecurity challenges while contributing to internal tools and disaster

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, with some programming experience.
• Internships, student projects or activities related to cybersecurity are a plus.
• Duration: 6–12 months, part-time (50%) and start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and improve our application security and secure development practices.
• Collaborate with teams across our Digital department to embed security into the way we work.
• Turn security requirements into practical improvements for our applications.
• Get hands-on with AI security, including securing AI/ML pipelines, models, and applications.
• Take part in application risk assessments and help identify ways to reduce security risks.
• Contribute to the development of an internal security and compliance tool.
• Help create and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Review existing processes, explore what could work better, and contribute your own ideas for improvement.
