As our new Cyber Underwriter in Stockholm you will work closely with our Nordic team and European Cyber organisation to assess cyber risks and support the delivery of innovative insurance solutions. What Will You Do?

As a Cyber Underwriter, you will work closely with brokers, clients, and colleagues across the organization to assess cyber risks and support the delivery of innovative insurance solutions. You will play an important role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our business partners while ensuring high standards of underwriting excellence and customer service.

The role involves underwriting risks, attending broker and underwriting meetings, presenting RiskPoint’ s Cyber proposition, and participating in internal training and educational initiatives. Whether you already have underwriting experience or are eager to develop your skills within cyber insurance, we are seeking a collaborative, service-minded professional with a strong desire to learn and grow.

You will work closely with colleagues across our Nordic and European Cyber organization, as well as with teams across other lines of business. In addition, you will engage daily with brokers and clients, helping to deliver solutions that address an increasingly complex cyber risk landscape.

The position is based in Stockholm and is office based with the possibility to also work from home.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers across all of Sweden.
• Promote RiskPoint’ s Cyber capabilities and contribute to the growth of a profitable cyber portfolio.
• Support local cyber distribution initiatives by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Ensure high standards of underwriting quality and discipline.

• Participate in internal and external training and development activities to strengthen your professional expertise.
• Contribute to product development and market initiatives within the Swedish cyber business.

About You

We imagine you:

• Have a few years of experience within underwriting, insurance, financial services, or a related field. Experience within Cyber, Financial Lines and/or Property underwriting is advantageous but not required.
• Could hold a university degree in Economics or Law or other related disciplines. Relevant professional experience combined with other qualifications will also be considered.
• Are structured, service oriented and pay attention to detail.
• Have a strong service mindset and enjoy building long-term relationships.
• Enjoy or are eager to learn presenting, negotiating, and engaging with clients and brokers.
• Have a good understanding of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English.
• Hold a valid work and residence permit for Sweden.

About Your Team

You will join our Cyber team in Sweden, which currently consists of three experienced professionals. You will work closely with colleagues across our Swedish office as well as with our Nordic Cyber team and the wider European Cyber underwriting organization.

Today, our Nordic Cyber team consists of 15 professionals and forms part of a broader European Cyber department spanning nine countries and comprising more than 30 underwriting and cyber risk engineering specialists.

Founded in 2018, our Cyber team has experienced significant growth and combines the expertise of seasoned professionals with the energy and ambition of emerging talent. We offer a collaborative and supportive environment where knowledge sharing, professional development, and innovation are at the heart of everything we do.

Som Cyberunderwriter kommer du att arbeta i nära samarbete med mäklare, kunder och kollegor inom hela organisationen för att bedöma cyberrisker och stödja leveransen av innovativa försäkringslösningar. Om dig

Vi söker dig som:

• Har några års erfarenhet inom underwriting, försäkring, finansiella tjänster eller ett närliggande område. Erfarenhet inom Cyber-, Financial Lines – och/eller Egendomsförsäkring är meriterande men inget krav.
• Är strukturerad, serviceinriktad och har sinne för detaljer.
• Har ett starkt serviceinriktat tankesätt och tycker om att bygga långsiktiga relationer.
• Har god förmåga att kommunicera professionellt i både tal och skrift på engelska och svenska.
• Trivs med, eller nyfiken på att utveckla din förmåga inom presentation, förhandling och dialog med både kunder och mäklare.
• Har en universitetsutbildning inom ekonomi, juridik, eller ett närliggande område. Relevant arbetslivserfarenhet i kombination med andra kvalifikationer kan också vara aktuellt.
• Har goda kunskaper i Microsoft Office-program, särskilt Excel och Word.
• Innehar ett giltigt arbets- och uppehållstillstånd för Sverige.

Du kommer att ingå i vårt Cyber-team i Sverige, som för närvarande består av tre erfarna medarbetare. Du kommer att arbeta i nära samarbete med kollegor på vårt svenska kontor samt med vårt nordiska Cyber-team och den större europeiska Cyberorganisationen.
