Job summary

Lovable is seeking a contract Content Designer to own copy across the product and lovable.dev website. You will shape onboarding, empty states, and error messaging, partnering with PMM and an external design partner to craft content hierarchy and navigation.

You will work at Lovable’s pace, shipping daily with the design team, and contribute to both in-product and marketing pages. A strong portfolio across product and marketing copy is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in content design or UX writing, with a portfolio showing in-product and marketing copy.
• Strong in-product onboarding, empty states, and error messaging copy.
• Proven ability to critique pages and rewrite for clarity and hierarchy.
• Clear own voice and ability to describe a brand's tone and apply it in copy.
• Comfort collaborating with designers, PMs, and external agencies at fast pace.

Responsibilities

• Own copy in onboarding, empty states, failed builds, and upgrade prompts.
• Name features and surfaces to maintain a cohesive product vocabulary.
• Write marketing pages with PMM, aligning site messaging with GTM.
• Collaborate with external design partner on content hierarchy and navigation.
• Improve pages that fail to land by improving hierarchy and messages.
• Embed with marketing and design teams to understand messaging decisions.
