Job summary

Zeekr Design is looking for a CMF Designer to develop CMF concepts for vehicle programs. You will contribute creative ideas, prepare design proposals, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver premium CMF solutions under senior guidance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Design and 2–5 years CMF or automotive design experience, with strong visual communication and proficiency in Photoshop/Illustrator. This is a studio-based position at our Göteborg location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, or related field.
• 2–5 years CMF or automotive design experience.
• Internship CMF/automotive design valued.
• Experience in design studio environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support CMF development from concept to production.
• Create color, material, and finish proposals based on design briefs.
• Produce outputs including trays, slides, renders, and videos.
• Assist in developing CMF themes and detailed design elements.
• Iterate and refine proposals based on feedback; collaborate with designers, engineers, suppliers, and visualization teams.
• Support material research and benchmarking activities.
• Prepare both digital and physical presentations.
• Assist in coordinating with suppliers and material libraries.
• Ensure CMF feasibility and consistency across components.

As a CMF Designer, you will support the development and execution of CMF concepts for vehicle programs. You will contribute creative ideas, prepare design proposals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality CMF solutions under the guidance of senior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Support CMF development from concept to production
• Create color, material, and finish proposals based on design briefs

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, or related field
• A minimum of 2–5 years of CMF or automotive design experience
• Internship experience in CMF or automotive design considered valuable
• Experience working in design studio environment is a plus

Competence

• Strong visual communication and creative thinking skills
• Understanding of CMF principles and design methodologies
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Basic rendering skills in VRED or Blender
• Familiarity with 3D tools such as Rhino or Blender is a plus
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Positive, proactive, and self-motivated attitude
• Ability to manage workload in fast-paced environments
