Job summary

If Insurance is seeking a Cloud Security Architect to design and implement secure cloud architectures, with hands-on operational execution. You will work with Azure security services, CI/CD integration, and cross-team collaboration to strengthen cloud controls across landing zones.

The role emphasizes translating governance into automated policies, incident response readiness, and proactive risk mitigation, with potential hybrid work arrangements and a focus on practical security improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure security ecosystems and services.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with networking, containers, and modern cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Translate cloud governance policies into automated, version-controlled controls (Policy/Guardrails).
• Operate and improve cloud security tooling (Defender for Cloud, SIEM integrations).
• Investigate security alerts and incidents in cloud environments.
• Perform security hardening, vulnerability remediation and misconfiguration fixes.
• Ensure security controls are embedded in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Identify gaps and drive automated policy improvements across Landing Zones.
