You will drive significant cost savings, ensure supplier performance, and minimize supply‑chain risks through effective supplier relationship management and complex contract negotiations with global OEMs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end source‑to‑contract processes, including the development of RFIs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, competitive bidding, and supplier selection.
  • Conduct detailed technical and commercial assessments of proposals, including TCO analysis, and negotiate complex purchase agreements, long‑term service agreements, and SLAs to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
  • Act as procurement lead for major CAPEX projects, collaborating with Engineering, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on specifications, milestones, payment terms, warranty provisions, and contractual requirements.
  • Manage strategic and operational relationships with key suppliers and OEMs, conducting regular business reviews and driving continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance value and performance.
  • Identify, track, and deliver measurable cost savings and productivity improvements through sourcing initiatives, negotiations, value‑engineering, and demand management.
  • Report on procurement impact realization and other value‑capture initiatives, conducting spend analysis, market benchmarking, and cost‑driver assessments to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Assess and mitigate supply‑chain risks, ensuring compliance with internal procurement policies, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Finance, IT, HR, and Legal to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategies accordingly, promoting best practices and governance standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, or Procurement, preferably in the battery industry; at least 3 years of direct experience sourcing CAPEX equipment, manufacturing equipment, or other high‑value machinery.
  • Technical Competencies: Expert knowledge of global sourcing methodologies, procurement practices, contract management, and commercial negotiations; proven track record of negotiating high‑value, high‑complexity agreements; strong financial and analytical capabilities, including TCO modeling, cost‑driver analysis, and clean‑sheet costing; proficiency with ERP systems and e‑sourcing platforms; strong understanding of supplier relationship management and procurement performance metrics.
