Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Join two CTS surgeons to cover open heart and thoracic cases.
• Perform advanced cardiac procedures and assist with TAVR/Mitra‑Clip/Watchman.
• Collaborate with CTS anesthesia and ICU for patient care.

Cardiothoracic Surgery-Tennessee

• Employed practice is seeking a BE/BC Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join their team
• Join 2 experienced Cardiothoracic surgeons, opening due to retirement planning plus 4 CTS PAs
• Dedicated CTS Anesthesia
• Experienced and new grads encouraged to apply with excellent mentorship
• Competitive salary with wRVU bonus
• 3 Cardiovascular OR suites with state-of-the-art equipment
• 3 da Vinci robots including a da Vinci 5
• TAVR, Mitra Clip and Watchman procedures
• TEE, 128-slice CT scanner, new Cardiac MRI and Intracardiac Echo
• Phase 3 Cardiac Rehabilitation
• Dedicated PACS for cardiac procedures
• St Jude 3D mapping system, adding Biosense Webster Carto 3 system
• Skills include Thoracic, TAVR and Mitra-Valve
• 16 bed cardiac ICU capacity with 30 bed ICU
• Accredited Stroke and Chest Pain Center
• Average of 350 open heart cases annually
• Call: 1:3
• EMR: EPIC
• Clinic hours: Monday-Friday 8-5pm
