Job summary

Scania Group is seeking an experienced Calibration and Optimization Engineer in Södertälje to develop and optimize engine calibration strategies for peak performance, fuel efficiency and emissions compliance. You will be part of the Value Creation Team, shaping development roadmap and improving agile ways of working.

The role requires 5+ years in calibration, hands-on engine control knowledge, and collaboration across software, hardware and testing teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of calibration experience, preferably in heavy-duty diesel engines.
• Hands-on with engine control functions: fuel management, torque control and emissions.
• Experience with engine test benches, dynos, data acquisition and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop ECU calibration to optimize performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions.
• Collaborate with software, hardware and testing teams to integrate the full system view.
• Prepare technical reports and drive calibration initiatives from concept to implementation.
• Contribute to roadmap development and long-term calibration strategies.
