Job summary

Scania Power Solutions seeks a mechanical engineer to join a dynamic, international team in Stockholm, influencing the transition from legacy systems to sustainable power solutions.

You will lead design efforts for cable harnesses, collaborate across Industry, Marine, and Power Generation, and contribute to rapid, value-driven development in a company that emphasizes openness and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in product development; design engineer with a few years of experience.
• Catia experience is a merit; fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key player and technical lead in active assignments, either led by yourself or one of our assignment leaders.
• Design, develop, verify and implement a long-term solution in the area of cable harness.
• Be part of Value Creation Teams for Industry, Marine, Power Generation, and drive development forward.
• Comfortable acting as an expert and sparring partner with colleagues in the broader Power Solution community.
• Due to the varied nature of the tasks you will quickly build a broad network of contacts within the company.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in methods, processes and alignment.

Who You Are

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• You are a design engineer with a few years of experience in product development.
• Experience in programs such as Catia is a merit.
• You write and speak fluently in English.
