Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C++ Engineer to support our team during the final phase of a major playback orchestration system migration. In this role, you will focus on maintaining and stabilizing the existing system to minimize risks as the migration nears completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, triage issues, and ensure smooth operations across complex software environments.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and support the current playback orchestration system during the migration phase

Perform deep debugging, issue triage, and analysis to ensure system reliability

Investigate system design behaviors and resolve technical challenges

Work across multiple projects and contexts, shifting priorities as needed

Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and domain experts to ensure alignment and timely updates

Required Technical Skills

Senior-level proficiency in C++ with extensive hands‑on experience

Familiarity with playback and orchestration APIs (preferred)

Strong debugging skills with a test‑oriented mindset

Ability to quickly understand complex system designs and behavior

Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics

Strong team collaborator who actively leverages peer expertise

Proactive communicator (“overcommunicator”) to ensure clarity and avoid rework

Preferred Experience

Experience with consumer multimedia software
