Job summary

PE Global are recruiting an experienced BIM Lead for a site-based hyperscale data centre project in Skellefteå, Sweden. The role focuses on BIM delivery across the project and ensuring standards are followed on site.

You will lead BIM Coordinators and Technicians, coordinate with site engineers and package managers, and drive clash resolution and drawings production per the BIM Execution Plan.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience on multiple large projects.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar.
• Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for BIM delivery across the project.
• Engage with the WTL site team, subcontractors, and client to ensure the standard BIM procedures are followed.
• Manage the team of BIM Coordinators and Technicians to deliver BIM requirements.
• Coordinate complex MEP installations with package managers and site engineers.
• Provide support to junior BIM team members and site team.
• Contribute to research and development initiatives related to BIM technologies and new processes.
• Manage and resolve clashes and coordination issues between disciplines.
• Production of drawings, specifications, and schedules according to the project BIM Execution plan.

Our client has grown to become the leading and most trusted company in our sector and is the only dedicated Data Centre delivery partner in Europe.

They are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight.

We are pleased to announce we are currently recruiting for an experienced BIM Lead to join their expanding team in Skelleftea, Sweden. This role will be fully site based working on a hyperscale data centre project. There is no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance on offer, candidates must have a valid EU/UK Passport, or the appropriate working visa.

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for BIM delivery across the project.

Requirements

• AutoCAD experience preferred
• 8+ years’ experience working on multiple large projects
• Relevant Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar
