Job summary

Deploja-Ab is seeking a consultant with strong programming, design and problem solving to join our consulting practice in Sweden. You will work with clients or internal projects, and may be presented to clients during the recruitment process.

The role requires hands-on experience in Scala, Java, C++, Spark or Flink, and delivering robust, scalable backend or data-intensive systems. English fluency and clear communication are essential.

We now have a new requirement and are looking for a consultant colleague with the qualifications listed below. The position is part of our consulting business, which means you will be employed by us and work either with clients or on internal projects and assignments.

Your Profile (Must-have requirements)

• Excellent programming, system design and problem-solving skills
• Professional development experience in Scala, Java, C++ or a comparable language
• Hands-on professional experience with Apache Spark or Apache Flink
• Experience building robust and scalable backend or data-intensive systems
• The ability to create structure, prioritise and make progress with limited initial direction
• Experience collaborating across teams in complex technical environments
• Fluent English and the ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and concisely

Meritorious

• Experience in data engineering within large and complex domains
• Design and implementation of APIs and REST services
• Experience with Akka, Play Framework or Spring
• Experience with GIS or geographical data
• Knowledge of tools and libraries such as JTS, ArcGIS, QGIS or OpenJUMP
