Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong experience in API design (REST and/or gRPC).
• Good understanding of cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (ECS, Fargate, Service Connect).
• Strong experience in API design (REST and/or gRPC) and defining service contracts (OpenAPI).
• Experience designing backend architectures in microservice-based systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Podman).
• Familiarity with messaging and event-driven systems (SQS, SNS).
• Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, X-Ray).
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
• Excellent English communication skills (Swedish is a plus).
• Interest in using AI agents and tools as part of daily development work.

Kreditz is looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Tech team. In this role, you will design, develop, and evolve scalable backend services as we modernize our infrastructure. RESPONSIBILITIES

We Believe That You Have

• Experience with Go (or willingness to pick it up quickly)
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (ECS, Fargate, Service Connect)

• Experience designing backend architectures in microservice‑based systems
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
