Role Description

As Backend Developer you will be a part of an agile team that delivers new features, upgrades and customizations to the AARO platform. You, together with your team will take ownership of the development process and play a key role in realizing the technical vision, which includes introducing more cloud based architecture.

Main responsibilities for this role will be:

• Support and brainstorm ideas together with your team
• Hands-on system development in Java
• Contribute to new software design and architecture

The development department as a whole is responsible for creating, planning and coordinating the creation and update of AARO’s quality products and consists of both a development and a test team.

Is this you?

To be successful in this role you have a multiple of years experience as a Backend developer with Java as your main language. Earlier experience working with Spring, MS SQL, Delphi and/or Scala give extra merit.

As a person, you are able to work both independently as well as a part of the team. You like to explore and learn new things and share your knowledge with your colleagues. Further on, you have great problem-solving and communication skills and can freely express yourself in English.
