Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in backend development, preferably with .NET/C#.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Cloud experience, preferably Azure, and understanding of IaC tools (Bicep, Terraform).
• Strong understanding of software architecture and scalable backend design.
• Interest in using AI tools to work smarter and explore new ways of solving problems.

Overview

Who we are and what we do: At Viedoc, we build software that modernizes clinical research, so that necessary treatments can reach the people who need them faster. We combine technology and design to streamline, automate and simplify conventional processes within clinical research. Viedoc makes every aspect of a clinical study run smoothly, helping new treatments reach patients faster. We are building the next generation of our platform with a strong focus on scalable backend services, data flows, and event-driven solutions. Our new data platform will help create a more modular, scalable foundation for Viedoc’s product ecosystem.

What you will do and why: As a Backend Developer, you will play a key role in evolving the platform that powers modern clinical studies. You will work closely with the database layer, APIs, services, and data flows, helping us bring together several data sources and move towards a clearer and more scalable architecture. This role suits someone who enjoys backend development, architectural thinking, and product-focused problem solving. You will contribute by building solutions and by shaping them together with the team. Operating in a highly regulated industry, you will help ensure high standards of quality, performance, and information security in everything we build. You will also have the opportunity to use and explore AI-powered development tools such as Claude, Copilot and Codex. Our tech stack includes: .NET/C#, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Azure, Azure DevOps, Docker, gRPC and Protobuf.

In this role you will

What we believe you have

• 5+ years of experience in backend development, preferably with .NET/C#
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably Azure, and an understanding of infrastructure as code tools such as Bicep or Terraform
• A good understanding of software architecture, system design, scalable backend solutions, and a strong product mindset
• Interest in using AI tools to work smarter and explore new ways of solving problems
• Fluent in English, both speech and writing
