Job summary

Datamatics Technologies is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer in Stockholm to design, deploy, and optimize secure Azure environments. The role requires hands-on expertise in cloud architecture and cost-efficient solutions.

You will manage Azure networking, IAM, IaC pipelines, monitoring, and governance, ensuring high availability and robust security across cloud platforms. Collaboration with DevOps and security teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure / Cloud Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID and IAM.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking (VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Private Endpoints).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Experience with IaC using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Experience with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, access governance and deployment reliability.
• Experience troubleshooting Azure infrastructure, networking, identity, and deployments.

Must-Have Requirements

• 5-6 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure / Cloud Engineering.

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID and identity/access management.

• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, including:

  • Azure VNets

  • Subnets

  • Network Security Groups (NSGs)

  • Private Endpoints

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.

• Experience with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

• Strong understanding of cloud security, access management, and governance.

• Experience troubleshooting Azure infrastructure, networking, identity, and deployment issues.

• Strong understanding of Azure architecture, scalability, availability, and reliability.

Good-to-Have Requirements

• Experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting/automation tools.

• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

• Knowledge of Azure Policy, Management Groups, RBAC, and Azure Landing Zones.

• Experience with Azure cost optimization and resource management.

• Exposure to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized workloads.

• Experience with Azure Key Vault and secrets management.

• Knowledge of Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and disaster recovery.

• Experience supporting cloud migration and modernization projects.

• Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent.
