Job summary

SSC Space, Solna, Sweden, seeks an AWS DevOps Engineer to build and improve infrastructure and deployment workflows across AWS and on‑prem environments. You will help developers deliver software reliably, strengthen security with automated controls, and simplify operations and monitoring.

You will collaborate with developers, architects and IT teams to enhance build, deploy and management of environments, including Terraform/CloudFormation, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration

Qualifications

• Three years of hands-on AWS experience in production environments.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline or Jenkins.
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters in cloud or on-prem environments.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation, and automate configuration with Ansible.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based systems and applications.
• Automate deployments and environment provisioning to improve consistency and reduce manual work.
• Manage containerised workloads in Amazon EKS and on-premises Kubernetes environments.
• Develop monitoring and observability across cloud and on-prem resources using Grafana and related tools.
• Investigate operational incidents and improve reliability through testing and automation.
• Build security policies and guardrails into infra and deployment workflows.
• Manage software artefacts and container images using Amazon ECR and JFrog.
• Contribute to solution design, QA and documentation for infra and processes.
