Job summary

Hiab, Hudiksvall in Sweden (and adjacent sites in Europe), seeks a DevOps & AWS Software Engineer to join our cloud team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure and services, collaborating with developers, architects, and operations to ensure high availability, automation, and security.

Qualifications

• Experience with designing, building and maintaining cloud infrastructure in AWS and across Linux/Windows environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or Terraform.
• Knowledge of container orchestration and monitoring tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS
• Manage and optimize AWS networking such as VPCs, Subnets, and VPCE
• Operate and maintain Windows and Linux environments
• Develop IaC solutions using AWS CDK and/or Terraform
• Build and support containerized applications and services
• Work with AWS ECS for container orchestration
• Develop APIs using AWS API Gateway
• Contribute to cloud architecture discussions and strategy
• Ensure security, scalability, monitoring, and operational excellence
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
