Job summary

Einride is seeking a Perception Engineer to advance multi‑modal perception and localization for autonomous platforms. The role focuses on developing perception algorithms, sensor fusion, and real‑time deployment on embedded hardware.

You will work closely with System Engineering to create a safe, deployable perception stack. The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in perception, ML/DL, and hands-on experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow, C/C++, and Python.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Robotics, Computer Science, AI, ML, or related field.
• 3–5+ years in research or industry in perception, sensor fusion, SLAM, CV, ML/DL, or calibration.
• Hands-on with PyTorch/TensorFlow and end-to-end model development.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop perception algorithms for autonomous platforms.
• Design, train, and optimize ML/DL models for sensor fusion and 3D object detection.
• Build data and training pipelines including labeling and augmentation.
• Keep sensors calibrated and aligned across the sensor suite.
• Integrate, validate, and deploy production-ready solutions for real-time inference.
• Collaborate with System Engineering and other teams to ensure a safe perception stack.
