Job summary

Contechs is seeking a CMF Designer to drive CMF development for vehicle programs, turning strategy into production-ready design solutions. You will propose concepts, coordinate cross-functional teams, and create color/material/finish specs with technical drawings for production.

You will develop CMF themes, deliver high-quality visuals, mentor teammates, and present proposals to senior stakeholders. Travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, or related field.
• 2-5 years CMF experience, preferably in automotive industry.
• Experience with cross-functional and global teams.
• Experience presenting to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support CMF development for assigned vehicle programs from concept to launch.
• Produce CMF proposals including color, material, finish specifications and technical drawings.
• Translate CMF strategy into feasible design solutions.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, modelers, visualization experts, trimmers, painters.
• Coordinate with suppliers for exterior paint, soft trim, decorative materials.
• Develop macro CMF themes and design elements.
• Produce high-quality renders and storytelling materials.
• Mentor CMF designers and support team knowledge sharing.
• Present CMF proposals to internal and external stakeholders.
