Karlstad University is seeking an Assistant Professor in Infection and Immunity or Metabolism, Liver Disease, and Nutrition. This position offers a six-year appointment with a generous funding package of 12 million SEK for salary and research costs.

You will establish a research group, apply for funding, and supervise students. Ideal candidates hold a relevant PhD and have a strong publication record.

Qualifications

• PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area.
• At least two peer-reviewed original scientific publications as first or last author.
• Priority to those who obtained their PhD no more than seven years prior to the application deadline.
