Job summary

Etteplan is seeking an AI Data Engineer to design, develop and improve data foundations powering AI-driven solutions. You will collaborate with software, cloud, and AI teams to build robust data platforms, pipelines and governance in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers exposure to varied industries, modern data platforms, and opportunities to grow into architecture or leadership roles within data and AI. A collaborative culture and continuous learning are core to our work.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with SQL and data modelling.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines.
• Experience working with APIs and integrations.
• Experience from at least one cloud environment, preferably AWS.
• Fluent communication skills in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining scalable data models
• Building and maintaining ingestion pipelines, integrations, and data flows
• Establishing reliable data pipelines, data contracts, and quality controls
• Integrating external systems and data sources
• Improving data quality, traceability, and observability
• Contributing to backend and cloud infrastructure, including databases, monitoring, and scaling
• Collaborating with architects, developers, product teams, and customers
• Supporting engineering best practices, documentation, and CI/CD ways of working
• Supporting data governance and responsible AI initiatives where relevant
