Luxoft in Gothenburg, Sweden seeks an experienced ADAS Test & Verification Engineer to join a team developing next-generation driver assistance and automated driving functions.

You will work with system designers, software developers, test leads, and suppliers to ensure ADAS features are safe, reliable, and deliver an excellent customer experience, combining hands-on vehicle testing with system-level verification and test automation across physical and virtual environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong testing experience in ADAS, Active Safety, Automated Driving, or safety-critical automotive systems.
  • Proven experience in system and function verification and validation.
  • Hands-on experience with complete vehicle testing and evaluation.
  • Knowledge of functional safety concepts and safety goal verification.
  • Experience with automotive communication, diagnostics, logging, and analysis tools.
  • Experience with HIL and test automation.
  • Python programming skills for test development, automation, or data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with external suppliers and coordinating technical deliveries.
  • Ability to assess functions from both technical and customer experience perspectives.

Responsibilities

  • Verify and validate ADAS and active safety functions in vehicles, simulation environments, HIL, and SIL platforms.
  • Plan, prepare, execute, and document test activities on proving grounds, public roads, and test rigs.
  • Evaluate functional behavior, performance, robustness, usability, and customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain automated test solutions using Python and scenario-based frameworks.
  • Analyze vehicle data, logs, and test results to support troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
  • Define test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and verification methods.
  • Support compliance with functional safety requirements and applicable legal or regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with system architects, developers, suppliers, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of verification processes, automation frameworks, and CI/CD‑based testing workflows.
  • Drive verification‑related objectives and support prioritization of testing activities.

-Experience with SIL environments and virtual validation.-Knowledge of OpenSCENARIO, ESmini, or similar simulation frameworks.-Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, INCA, DLT, or equivalent automotive tools.-Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software factory concepts.-Familiarity with legal, NCAP, rating, and regulatory verification requirements.-Experience with ADAS features such as Collision Avoidance, Pilot Assist, Low‑Speed Assistance, Connected Safety, or Automated Driving functions.Additional proving‑ground, safety‑driver, or fleet‑testing experience.
