Job description

Aareon is Europe’s established provider of SaaS solutions for the real estate industry. Momentum Software, a Swedish SaaS company in the proptech industry with an AI‑first approach and part of the Aareon Group, looks for an Accounting Manager (m/f/d) who combines high‑quality accounting with continuous improvement, automation and close collaboration with the business.

About the Role

Take full responsibility for accounting across the Nordic entities (primarily Swedish) within the consolidated group. Ensure high‑quality closing processes, reporting and compliance, while also driving the development of processes, systems and ways of working. Work closely with management and key stakeholders and play a central role in creating structure, efficiency and smart automation.

Responsibilities

• Own and further develop the ongoing accounting for the group entities
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closings in accordance with K3
• Ensure accurate annual reports, financial reporting and closing documentation
• Coordinate VAT, tax and statutory reporting
• Act as the main contact for auditors and authorities
• Contribute to strong internal controls, smarter processes and increased automation and use of AI
• Take a central role in managing the ERP platform Xledger

Your Profile

• Strong background in accounting and enjoying combining operational delivery with process improvement
• Confident in closing processes, reporting and regulatory requirements – motivated to improve, simplify and create structure
• Degree in finance, accounting or a related field and several years of experience in advanced accounting roles
• Experienced in financial closings and annual reporting
• Experience with Xledger, K3/IFRS and ideally a SaaS environment is an advantage
• Detail‑oriented, self‑driven, curious and business‑mindful; communicates clearly, takes ownership and enjoys driving improvements that have a tangible impact in daily operations
