Job summary

Borealis söker en redovisningsekonom till finance-teamet i Stenungsund på ett tillfälligt uppdrag som gäller till juni 2028 under föräldraledighet. Du kommer hantera daglig bokföring, avstämningar och rapportering samt uppföljning av lönekostnader och anställdas förmåner, i nära samarbete med Global Business Services.

Vi söker en strukturbevakande teamspelare med utbildning i redovisning/finans, gärna SAP, och goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska.

• Vi söker en utbildad redovisningsekonom med intresse för noggrannhet och utveckling.

Responsibilities

• Stödjer rapportering till myndigheter och uppföljning av anställdas kostnader
• Hantera resor och kostnadsredovisning samt stöd för relaterade processer
• Samarbeta med Global Business Services och vara lokal kontakt för utvalda redovisningsprocesser
• Delta i månads- och årsbokslut inom ansvarsområde

Do you enjoy working with accounting in a role where accuracy, collaboration and continuous improvement go hand in hand? We are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team in Stenungsund on a temporary contract covering a parental leave until June 30, 2028.

As part of our local Finance team, you will contribute to delivering efficient and compliant financial processes for our Swedish operations. The role offers a broad range of responsibilities and close collaboration with colleagues across the business as well as our Global Business Services (BSC).

You will work with daily accounting activities, reconciliations and reporting, while also playing an important role in the follow-up of payroll-related costs and employee benefits.

What you will do

• Support reporting towards authorities and the follow-up of employee-related costs
• Manage travel and expense accounting and support related processes
• Collaborate closely with our Global Business Services team and act as a local contact for selected accounting processes
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities within your areas of responsibility

About you

We believe you have a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, preferably from a Higher Vocational Education programme (Swedish YH), combined with a genuine interest in accounting. With a good understanding of reconciliations and financial processes, you enjoy working with details while understanding how your work supports the business.

Further, you are structured and dependable in your way of working and enjoy collaborating with colleagues across functions and locations.

Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP, is considered an advantage. As you will interact with both local and international colleagues, professional proficiency in Swedish and English is required.
