Industrial Electrical Technician
Job summary
A leading industrial company in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Technician to maintain and repair electrical systems across the milling and feed plants. Key responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety codes. Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of experience and a diploma in Electrical Engineering. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to energy-saving initiatives and train junior technicians.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent certification required.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Familiarity with PLC systems and industrial electrical components is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and repair faulty wiring/components.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical panels and motors.
Skills
The Industrial Electrical Technician maintains and repairs electrical systems across the milling and feed plants. The role ensures reliable power supply, equipment safety, and compliance with electrical codes.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and repair faulty wiring/components.
- Conduct regular inspections of panels, motors, and PLC systems.
- Document maintenance activities in ERP systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety and regulatory codes.
- Collaborate with engineers during installations and upgrades.
- Train junior technicians in safe electrical practices.
- Maintain inventory of electrical spare parts.
- Support energy-saving initiatives in plant operations.
- Respond to emergencies and restore power promptly.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent certification.
- 3–5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Knowledge of PLCs, motors, and industrial electrical systems.
- ERP (SAP) experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and safety awareness.
