A leading logistics firm in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage financial records and ensure compliance with local tax laws. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in logistics, and advanced software skills. This role offers a competitive salary, health insurance, and a supportive work environment.
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with Saudi financial regulations, and supporting senior management with essential financial insights. You’ll be a core part of the company’s accounting and finance operations, helping guide decision-making and ensure financial health.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across departments.
Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow monitoring.
Ensure full compliance with Saudi tax regulations, including VAT and Zakat.
Handle accounts payable and receivable activities.
Manage the general ledger, including month-end and year-end closings.
Collaborate with external auditors and support internal audit processes.
Implement accounting controls and process improvements.
Provide financial analysis reports and performance tracking against budgets.
Utilize ERP and accounting systems to maintain financial transparency.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping.
Proven knowledge of accounting principles, KSA tax laws, and regulatory compliance.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.
Strong Excel skills and analytical capabilities.
Must already reside in Saudi Arabia with a valid and transferable Iqama (mandatory).
High attention to detail, organizational strength, and ability to multitask.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Work Days: Sunday to Thursday
Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour break)
Work Location: Must be located near Riyadh, KSA
