Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or a related healthcare field — mandatory
  • Valid professional license from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience, including at least 1–2 years in wound or skin care
  • Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
  • Strong knowledge of wound assessment, staging, and evidence-based management
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and patient education skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of CBAHI standards and quality improvement practices related to wound management
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive wound assessments, including staging and documentation
  • Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on best practices
  • Select and apply appropriate dressings and wound care products
  • Manage and monitor Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT/VAC) systems
  • Ensure infection prevention and control measures during all wound care procedures
  • Provide pain management and comfort interventions during treatment
  • Educate patients and families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies
  • Train and support clinical staff on wound care practices and competencies
  • Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, and rehabilitation teams to optimize wound healing outcomes
  • Monitor and report wound healing progress, incidence rates, and related data
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with healthcare standards
