Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Workshop Controller to oversee daily workshop operations. The role ensures efficient utilization of labour, equipment, and materials while maintaining the highest standards of service quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The Workshop Controller coordinates with team leaders to allocate work effectively, supports cost control, and helps the Service Department achieve operational and financial targets.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately record technicians’ operation times on job orders and daily labour cards.
  • Coordinate with team leaders for proper job card dispatching and task allocation.
  • Monitor workshop workflow to ensure efficient use of manpower, tools, and materials.
  • Ensure that all service and repair work meets the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain compliance with retailer, manufacturer, and industry guidelines.
  • Support the Service Manager and After Sales team in achieving productivity and profitability goals.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Service Advisors and After Sales reception to improve labour utilization and scheduling.
  • Assist in maintaining workshop discipline, organization, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for process efficiency and cost control.
