Eram Talent is looking for a highly skilled Welding QC Engineer with Hot Tap experience to join our team for a prestigious project with Aramco.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of welding operations, particularly in hot tapping processes. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining compliance with industry standards and ensuring the safety and reliability of the projects we support.

Responsibilities
  • Perform quality control inspections of welding activities related to hot tap operations in accordance with project specifications and standards.
  • Review and understand project documents, including welding procedures, inspection plans, and quality plans.
  • Compile and maintain records of inspections, tests, and results, ensuring compliance with Aramco's quality assurance requirements.
  • Work closely with project engineering and construction teams to identify potential quality issues and provide solutions.
  • Participate in pre-welding briefings and communicate the importance of quality expectations to all personnel involved in the welding process.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with safety standards during all welding activities.
  • Conduct regular audits of welding processes and report findings to the QA/QC Manager.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of welding procedures and quality control protocols.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation for approval and maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Welding QC Engineer, specifically with hot tap operations.
  • Valid Aramco approval or certification as a Welding QC Engineer is required.
  • Thorough understanding of welding codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.) and experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Familiarity with Aramco's quality assurance and quality control standards.
  • Experience with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods and certifications is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
