Job summary

A leading outsourcing firm in Saudi Arabia seeks a Welding Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in welding processes, including GMAW and GTAW. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Materials, with strong knowledge of welding standards and ability to prepare WPS and PQR. Saudi nationals only. This role demands a solid understanding of welding metallurgy and strong engineering skills in quality systems and fabrication documents.

Job Requirements

• Experience: 2-4 years SAUDI NATIONALS ONLY
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgical, or Welding Engineering (Master’s is preferred).
• Experience in welding processes: GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, and exposure to welding high-strength steels.
• Ability to prepare and review WPS, PQR, and support welder qualifications, with strong understanding of welding metallurgy and heat-input control.
• Ability to develop weld books, welding instructions, and fabrication welding documents.
• Knowledge of key standards: AWS D1.1, ISO 9606, ISO 15614, ISO 3834, ISO 13920.
• Preferable certifications: IWE (International Welding Engineer) or AWS CWEng (Certified Welding Engineer).
• Acceptable inspection certifications: CSWIP 3.1/3.2, AWS CWI, and ASNT Level II (VT/MT/PT/UT).
• Strong engineering skills: interpretation of fabrication drawings, weld troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and ability to work with quality systems (ISO 9001/AS9100).
