Job summary

A leading energy firm in Dammam is seeking a skilled Welder to fabricate and assemble metal structures for Gas Turbines. The role requires a diploma or technical degree and 3 to 7 years of welding experience with a strong knowledge of the GTAW process. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read part drawings and work independently or with supervision. This position does not offer relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years of experience in welding.
• Valid welder qualification certificate from current employer.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding activities for repair of Gas Turbine parts according to WPS.
• Perform repair activities on Gas Turbine parts according to work instructions.

Skills

GTAW process knowledge

Ability to read and interpret part drawings

Experience with Stainless steels

Experience with Nickel base alloys

Experience with Cobalt base alloys

Education

• Diploma or Technical college degree or equivalent 3 to 7-year experience in welding.
• Good working knowledge on GTAW process and shall have valid welder qualification certificate from current employer.
• Experience in welding of Stainless steels, Nickel base alloys, Cobalt base alloys.

Desired Characteristics

• Ability to read and interpret part drawings and process prints.
• Work closely with or without Supervisors.
