This Position reports to: Sales Manager

ABB Motion provides pioneering technology, products, solutions and related services to industrial customers to increase energy efficiency, improve safety and reliability, and maintain precise control over processes. The portfolio includes motors, generators and drives for a wide range of applications in all industrial sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Sales & Customer Engagement – Sells products/systems/services focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups (MODP, ACS880, ACS580MV, ACS6000, ACS8080, and LCI), including complete solutions via regional/global TEC per ABB MOSD strategy. Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand needs, promote ABB offerings, and ensure a positive experience throughout the sales process. Creates added value for both customer and ABB using effective sales techniques, communicating delivery time, payments, and general terms in line with ABB strategy.
  • Sales Planning & Marketing – Prepares sales plans using company tools, performs regular status reviews, and proposes recovery plans for potential shortfalls. Ensures efficient marketing activities and value proposition delivery, arranges focus product seminars for target customers, gets nominated products accepted by customer engineering departments, and involves ASM/Global Product Manager and R&D when needed to position ABB products.
  • Offer Preparation & Administration – Prepares offers in coordination with the bid/proposal department and/or Marketing Manager, ensuring technical and financial accuracy including pricing and trading conditions. Manages administrative procedures in sales processes, supports collection and project management activities, and handles CP agreement and authorization across the kingdom.
  • Water Segment & Market Development – Identifies and drives new market opportunities in designated segments (HVAC OEMs, Pumps OEMs, Elevator business, Automation system integrators, and untapped applications), ensuring know‑how sharing and cross‑collaboration.

Qualifications
  • Education & Experience – Ideally holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with more than 8 years of sales experience in Saudi Arabia. Has successful sales experience dealing with large PBLs, system integrators (Sis), and EPCs.
  • Market & Product Knowledge – Strong knowledge of LV & MV VFDs and Motors in the Saudi market, especially in the Central region. Familiarity with water segment players and MV Motors is a plus.
  • Skills & Attributes – Demonstrates high‑level communication and sales skills. Assertive, efficient, and capable of navigating complex sales environments.
  • Language Proficiency – Fluent in both Arabic and English, which is required for effective communication and customer engagement.
