Overview

To Maintain the stock in warehouse & additional duties as sales representative

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities
• Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse activities
• Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials
• Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels
• Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy
• Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation
• Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations
• Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds
• Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment
• Generating leads
• Meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients
• Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports
• Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients
• Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs
• Understanding and promoting company programs
• Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients
• Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders

Experience

Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position. Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management. Time management skills and the ability to delegate. Understanding of the sales process and dynamics. A commitment to excellent customer service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers. Experience using computers for a variety of tasks. Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook. Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.

Education

Degree in business, management, logistics or a related field preferred.
