To Plan, Monitor, Control and Lead Warehouse, logistics & Stores functions.
To Plan, Direct, Monitor and Control Procurement of Raw & Auxiliary materials and Packing materials.
To Deliver efficient and timely services to all external & internal customers.
To Ensure Workplace Health and Safety requirements are met with the standard.

Job Contex and Major Challenges.
In order to sustain our market leadership, customer centricity has evolved as an activity of prime importance for the business to retain and enlarge customer base. It has mandated that service functions to be the driver of business process to exhibit its commitment for customer satisfaction by offering world class service levels. Warehouse, Logistics, Stores & Procurement are some of such important services which plays vital role in production and sales operations. PT. Indo Bharat Rayon is a flagship manufacturing base in VSF business having a mix of world class technology and is located in prime market of South East Asia resulting in bigger expectations from management to achieve and sustain benchmarking on each stage by the plant.
Challenge is to efficiently plan, control and monitor material management with total safety of 14 Lacs TPA contains materials which contains wide product range of 18,000 SKUs through 54,000 vehicles moving annually from customers and suppliers with through planning and coordination. Complexity is compounded by the emphasis on a multiple product range for different customers. Monitor inventory management having worth USD 45 million in 45,000Sq.Mtr. Storage areas spread across 30 locations both within and outside Plant with use of best inventory control techniques. To operate such huge operation from single location with cost optimized and efficient manner by highly rationalized men power and equipment in itself is a big challenge and requires proper alignment of man and machine having different competencies and capabilities towards common objective to achieve defined targets efficiently and in time bound manner. It requires continues monitoring on condition of materials, ensure to follow schedule for preservation activity of spares due to corrosive environment for the entire life cycle, ensure to maintain FG keeping in mind the customer sensitivity, execute timely distribution of highly dynamic FG dispatches for enhance customer satisfaction, fulfil unplanned material requirement during maintenance work to upkeep the plant performance, robust planning of major inputs to facilitate uninterrupted Plant operations 24Hrs 365Days. It requires continues, strategic and collective efforts to identify new opportunities for improvement to achieve and sustain operational excellence.
Plan and ensure optimum inventory levels of all items for smooth plant operations in cost effective way.
Supporting Action :
1.SH Stores (Material Receipt & Issue, Inventory control, Rejection returns, Returnable materials, Scrap mgmt., Weighbridge operations) : To manage receipt, Issue & storage in Stores in cost effective and safe manner, support to plant team for smooth operations. To manage Inventory control activities by conducting perpetual inventory exercise of all items in stocks as per SOP. To ensure timely receipt of returnable materials. To manage scrap and waste collection, storage and sale/disposal activities dispatch, sales document management and MIS. To manage weighbridge operations.
2.SH Warehouse (VSF & Sodium Sulphate) : To manage production receipt, storage, preservation, dispatch and sales document management of VSF and Sodium Sulphate in cost effective and safely manner to support sales & marketing team. To manage dispatch and dispatch documentation of Sulphuric Acid. To conduct perpetual inventory all the stored items as per SOP and ensure to achieve 100% accuracy. To ensure SOPs of goods picking for sales, safe and optimum loading of vehicles are being followed. To ensure all reported vehicles and dispatched on time with accuracy to achieve optimum TAT & OTIF.
3.FLO Purchase (Planning & Ordering) : To plan and order major raw materials as per the contract/negotiations by Central procurement team. To plan and order all Auxiliary chemicals and Packing materials through proper RFQ, Comparative and Negotiation process as per SOP. To develop new and alternate Vendors to induce and leverage competition among the suppliers. To develop new and low cost alternate materials for cost optimization strategy.
Job Purpose of Direct Reports and key responsibilities detailed above. All functions are critical to maintain uninterrupted plant operations and customer satisfaction. No further changes needed at this level.
