Roles & Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Portfolio
    • Define product vision, multi-year strategy, and annual portfolio roadmap across multiple products/modules.
    • Translate strategy into capacity-constrained, milestone-based plans with clear “must-win” bets and exit criteria.
    • Establish portfolio OKRs and product-level North Star metrics; review monthly and course-correct.
  • Execution & Delivery
    • Run a predictable operating cadence (quarterly planning, release trains, stage gates, launch readiness).
    • Ensure every product has a validated problem statement, outcome PRD, and instrumentation plan before build.
    • Drive quality by design (SLAs/SLOs, reliability targets, usability standards, accessibility) and post-launch learn/iterate loops.
  • Customer & Market Insight
    • Institutionalize discovery (customer interviews, JTBD mapping, usability testing, data analysis) to de-risk bets.
    • Maintain competitive intelligence and pricing/packaging guardrails in partnership with Product Marketing.
  • Organization & Leadership
    • Build, mentor, and performance-manage a high-caliber team (PMs, Designers, Researchers/Analysts).
    • Install a clear ownership model (product lines and/or journeys), decision rights, and escalation paths.
    • Foster cross-functional alignment with Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Security/Compliance, and Finance.
  • Data, Governance & Compliance
    • Ensure robust product analytics, experimentation, and telemetry for evidence-based decisions.
    • Uphold privacy, security, and regulatory requirements applicable to enterprise software.
Requirements

  • Product Leadership: 10+ years in product management, including 4+ years owning a multi-product enterprise SaaS portfolio with significant scale (e.g., thousands of seats or 7–8 figure ACVs across customers).
  • Shipping Outcomes: Proven record of taking net-new products from concept to PMF and scaling mature products (measurable impact on adoption, retention, expansion, or profitability).
  • Enterprise SaaS: Depth in B2B workflows, role‑based access, auditability, integrations/APIs, and security/compliance expectations.
  • Operating System: Built and ran a product operating cadence (OKRs, portfolio planning, stage gates, experiment design, instrumentation, beta/GA).
  • People Leadership: Hired, developed, and succession‑planned a 15–30+ person product/design/research org; coached managers and senior ICs.
  • Cross‑Functional Execution: Partnered effectively with Engineering leadership on capacity and quality; with GTM on pricing/packaging and launches; and with CS on adoption/value realization.
Required Skills
  • Strategic Thinking: Portfolio prioritization, sequencing, and resource trade‑offs under constraints.
  • Product Sense & UX Judgment: Ability to define simple, valuable experiences for complex enterprise use cases.
  • Analytical Rigor: Hypothesis‑driven discovery, KPI design, funnel analysis, experimentation, and causal thinking.
  • Execution Discipline: Roadmap ownership, risk management, dependency handling, and on‑time delivery.
  • Communication: Crisp narrative memos, executive/board briefings, and clear decision records.

  • AI/ML in Product: Shipped AI‑assisted workflows or analytics (e.g., co‑pilots, recommendations, anomaly detection) with appropriate guardrails and measurement.
  • Platform Capabilities: Ownership of shared services (reporting, workflow/orchestration, permissions, design system) used across multiple products.
  • Enterprise Domains: Background in CX/CCaaS, marketing tech, analytics/BI, or data platforms.
  • Global Customers: Exposure to multi‑region deployments, privacy regimes, and enterprise procurement cycles.
