Overview

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 (Tax Free) plus bonus and benefits. High Calibre Food & Beverage Quality / Technical Manager is required for a market leading business based in a tax free and rapidly growing economy.

Our client, based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), is a market leader in providing a variety of food safety, bio security and quality services across the food and beverage supply chain and within its specific fields of analysis, certifications, inspection, testing and consultancy. Following recommendation from a mutual partnership we have been challenged with sourcing a high-calibre Quality & Technical Manager who will oversee a variety of specialised laboratories as well as creating the Technical Services Department. The successful candidate will also lead, develop and deploy a range of technical services including inspections and certifications that include First, Second and Third Party Audits for a variety of industry channels including: Manufacturers, Retailers and Foodservice. Working cross functionally with a variety of different levels of senior personnel you will report into the president of the business. Thus, you will be given much autonomy within this position, therefore the ability to communicate at all levels and build and maintain relationships within a 360 degree cycle is essential.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • Hold a university degree – ideally within the field of food science, chemistry, microbiology or food safety.
  • Hold 3 years managerial experience complemented with a proven track record of developing, deploying and managing audit services and teams.
  • Hold strong experience working within food safety, quality or technical teams and ideally across a variety of product ranges.
  • Be willing and able to reside in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
