Job Title:
Van Sales Executive
Job Purpose:
To drive van-based sales of automotive spare parts to workshops, retailers, and resellers within an assigned territory. The Van Sales Executive is responsible for generating revenue, executing sales strategies, promoting brand visibility, collecting payments, and building strong customer relationships to achieve monthly and daily sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Conduct daily van routes to sell automotive spare parts (batteries, filters, brake pads, lubricants, belts, etc.).
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales and collection targets.
- Implement promotional offers, bundles, and discounts to increase sales conversion.
- Introduce new products and brands to customers and gain market penetration.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Identify and onboard new workshops, fleets, resellers, and retail customers in the assigned area.
- Maintain professional relationships and regular communication with existing customers.
- Assist customers with product selection and recommend suitable alternatives or compatible parts.
Inventory & Stock Management:
- Ensure that the van is always stocked with fast‑moving and targeted SKUs.
- Monitor van inventory levels, expiry dates, and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
- Submit daily van inventory updates and notify the supervisor of restocking needs.
Cash & Collection Handling:
- Collect payments as per agreed terms (cash or transfer).
- Ensure strict compliance with company collection policies and report discrepancies immediately.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Submit accurate daily sales, collection, and visit reports.
- Maintain customer data, new leads, and route plans using CRM tools or assigned templates.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Sales, or Automotive‑related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in spare parts or FMCG.
- Valid driving license for commercial van operation.
- Strong market knowledge of automotive spare parts and customer base (local garages, retailers, etc.).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage collections.
- Basic knowledge of ERP/Sales systems and mobile reporting tools.
