Overview
We’re looking for someone who has solid experience in UI/UX design and related fields. The role involves user research, persona creation, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, UI design, client communication, usability testing, and continuous iteration in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights, understand user behavior and needs.
- Develop detailed user personas based on research and data.
- Create user journeys to visualize the path users take and prepare case studies to showcase design solutions and impacts.
- Develop wireframes to lay out the structure of user interfaces and establish user flows.
- Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate and test the functionality of proposed designs.
- Design user‑friendly and visually appealing interfaces for web, mobile, and other media, ensuring alignment with UX principles and guidelines.
- Interact with clients to understand requirements, present design concepts, collect feedback, and ensure final designs meet needs.
- Conduct usability tests of designs to ensure they are user‑friendly and meet target audience needs.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability test results, and data, continually improving UI/UX over time.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment between UI and UX design.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design.
- Proficiency with industry‑standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar.
- Expertise in Figma, including real‑time collaboration, design version control, and prototyping capabilities.
- Knowledge of wireflows, combining wireframes and user flows into visual representations.
- Ability to create interactive prototypes using Figma, InVision, Proto.io, or Adobe XD.
- Experience establishing and maintaining design systems, including UI component libraries, style guides, and design patterns.
- Familiarity with design thinking methodology (empathize, define, ideate, prototype, test).
- Understanding of Agile principles and methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban for effective cross‑functional collaboration.
