Job summary

A technology firm is seeking a Support Engineer in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves designing transmission network architecture and planning capacities, alongside optimizing existing systems. Qualifications

• High technical education (Engineering Degree) experienced in Telecom Projects - GSM, 2.5G and 3.5G.
• Must be aware of Ericsson products and have experience in Transmission Planning.

Responsibilities

• Setting Transmission network architecture design and planning.
• Performing Transmission load balancing and capacity planning.
• Optimizing the TX network and recommending improvements.

Skills

Knowledge of Ericsson products

Knowledge of ETRAN application

Good knowledge of TEMS Link Planner

Knowledge of MapInfo applications

Experience in Transmission Planning

Understanding of global transmission standards

Experience with GSM/2.5G/3.5G

Education

- Transmission load balancing
- Transmission capacity planning
- Microwave link design
- Microwave system frequency planning
- Interconnection and Leased lines
- Optimize the TX network and recommend improvements

Job Specification

Required competence:
- Aware of Ericsson products (ML-TN, ML-HC, Marconi LH/SH, DXX, AXX and RXI)
- Preferable knowledge in ETRAN application
- Good knowledge of TEMS Link Planner and MapInfo applications
- Experience in Transmission Planning and implementation, knowledge of global transmission standards and big transmission networks
- High technical education (Engineering Degree) experienced in Telecom Projects - GSM, 2.5G and 3.5G
