Job Role The Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading the planning, development, execution, and evaluation of trade marketing strategies across all sales channels—workshops, auto spare parts dealers, wholesalers, and related customer segments. The role supports overall category and channel development by analyzing market trends, driving brand visibility, developing trade promotions, optimizing pricing strategies, and managing new product development initiatives. The Specialist works closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and other functions to deliver category growth, trade partner engagement, and improved channel performance. This position requires strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives that enhance brand value, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.
Responsibilities

Trade Marketing Strategy & Channel Development
- Develop and execute trade marketing strategies tailored for different trade channels.
- Drive channel growth and profitability through strategic initiatives and tailored programs.
- Maintain superior in-store visibility, POS activation, and trade loyalty program performance.

Budget & ROI Management
- Manage trade marketing budgets efficiently and ensure adherence to approved allocations.
- Track ROI on trade activities and optimize investment performance.
- Reduce unplanned expenses through structured planning and control.

Market Insights, Competitor Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct regular competitor analysis and market intelligence to support strategic adjustments.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly reports on trade channel performance, distribution, and market share.
- Provide insights to senior management to support decision-making.

Sales Alignment & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales to align trade marketing plans with sales targets.
- Support execution of joint sales and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, R&D, and other departments to ensure seamless delivery of trade initiatives.

Trade Engagement Initiatives
- Manage trade loyalty programs and build strong relationships with trade partners.
- Enhance brand presence through targeted trade events, sponsorships, and marketing promotions.
- Increase repeat purchase rates and trade partner engagement.

Pricing & Forecasting
- Conduct pricing analysis and recommend competitive pricing strategies.
- Ensure pricing decisions support margin goals and customer satisfaction.
- Lead sales forecasting efforts based on historical data and market trends to optimize inventory and demand planning.

New Product Development (NPD)
- Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking for new or fast‑moving product categories.
- Recommend new product launches supported by pricing analysis and margin evaluation.
- Support innovation and renovation initiatives across product categories.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Sales Management, Marketing, or related field.
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (mandatory).
- Experience Minimum 5 years of functional experience in Sales/Trade Marketing.
- At least 2 years in a managerial or specialist role within the Animal Feed industry in KSA.
- Proven experience in trade marketing, category development, and channel growth programs.
- Functional & Technical Skills Strong strategic mindset with proven leadership and high initiative.
- Solid understanding of P&L drivers, financial analysis, and budget management.
- Expertise in consumer and trade marketing, brand management, and innovation processes.
- Knowledge of market research, media management, and channel segmentation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with Production, Supply Chain, demand forecasting, and logistics workflows.
