Job Role

The Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading the planning, development, execution, and evaluation of trade marketing strategies across all sales channels—workshops, auto spare parts dealers, wholesalers, and related customer segments.

The role supports overall category and channel development by analyzing market trends, driving brand visibility, developing trade promotions, optimizing pricing strategies, and managing new product development initiatives.

The Specialist works closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and other functions to deliver category growth, trade partner engagement, and improved channel performance.

This position requires strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives that enhance brand value, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.

  • Maintain superior in‑store visibility, POS activation, and trade loyalty program performance.
  • Manage trade marketing budgets efficiently and ensure adherence to approved allocations.
  • Track ROI on trade activities and optimize investment performance.
  • Reduce unplanned expenses through structured planning and control.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis and market intelligence to support strategic adjustments.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reports on trade channel performance, distribution, and market share.
  • Provide insights to senior management to support decision‑making.
  • Work closely with Sales to align trade marketing plans with sales targets.
  • Support execution of joint sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, R&D, and other departments to ensure seamless delivery of trade initiatives.
  • Manage trade loyalty programs and build strong relationships with trade partners.
  • Enhance brand presence through targeted trade events, sponsorships, and marketing promotions.
  • Increase repeat purchase rates and trade partner engagement.
  • Conduct pricing analysis and recommend competitive pricing strategies.

Requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Sales Management, Marketing, or related field.

Experience
