Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and functionality of automation systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues, optimize system performance and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular system maintenance, including upgrades, backups, and configuration activities.
  • Provide training and support to operations teams on the proper use and maintenance of automation systems.
  • Document all processes, configurations, and changes related to automation systems.
  • Preparation of progress and root cause analysis reports.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years working in the field of automation as PLC/RTU Programmer and commissioning preferably on Water and Wastewater projects, Oil & Gas and Infrastructures.
  • Experience in working with various PLC platforms and RTUs like Schneider M580, Rockwell Control & Compact Logix, Siemens S7-300, S7-400, S7-1500, PCS-7, WinCC SCADA, WinCC OA SCADA and TBOX RTU.
  • Experience in working with open communication protocols used in automation like Modbus Serial, Modbus RTU BACnet MSTP, OPC, MQQT, DNP3 etc.
  • Familiarity as well as control panels wirings and instrumentation.
  • Ability to read documents and drawings related to control systems i.e., P&IDs, layouts, Control Panel Drawings and able to troubleshoot wiring issues.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
