NesmaKent is recruiting for Lead Engineer that will Ensure the discipline engineering work is performed to the correct standard and budgeted execution-hours. The Lead Engineer is accountable to the Engineering Head of Department. This is part of a recruitment drive to develop and grow NKJV Engineering capability in Saudi Arabia.

this role that has talent, enthusiasm, and drive to influence and be part of our exciting expansion plan. The engineering team will support a variety of interesting and challenging opportunities by responsibly developing traditional Oil and Gas Energy projects as well as Low Carbon

/ Energy Transition projects (CCUS, Green Hydrogen, Blue Hydrogen, Offshore Wind, Waste to X, Emissions Reduction). Being confidently hands on particularly during the initial mobilization period as we grow, collaborative (including international workshare and teamworking) and committed to a long‑term career within a high‑performing and close team are some of the key qualities we are seeking. We operate a flexible working model from our modern office facilities in Al Khobar.

Primary Duties :

• Allocate appropriate discipline resources for the preparation of proposals, FEED Verification and detailed engineering on projects.
• Lead and manage the engineering team to deliver high‑quality projects on time and within budget.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions.
• Review technical work and ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other departments to define project requirements and scope.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise.
• Identify risks, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions to ensure project success.
• Optimize engineering processes to improve efficiency, quality and cost‑effectiveness.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders.

Qualification/ Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with +15 years of experience.
• Chartered status preferred.
• Significant related project management experience working for engineering/client organizations in the oil and gas industry and/or Low Carbon Energy Transition industry.
• Experience of executing projects in the Middle East.
• Saudi Aramco Projects working experience.
