Your key responsibilities
  • Ensure Application Operations Team provides optimum service level to business units and support functions.
  • Ensure banking and trading applications availability and integrity. Perform regular maintenance and required changes.
  • Assist in managing stakeholders (internal and external) communications, expectations, relationships.
  • Take overall responsibility on monitoring applications changes, resolution of incidents and problems, including interfaces to external and global systems.
  • Assist in delivering activities related to domestic IT landscape jointly with IT peers, business and external partners (regulator, vendor, stock exchange).
  • Ensure that defined service operations processes are adhered to by the team and make improvement recommendations where appropriate.
  • Participate in team related activities such as participating and leading work streams, chairing team meetings, being trained and training peers, where appropriate.
Your skills and experience
  • 5 years experience in Technology in banking or capital market sectors in Saudi Arabia.
  • Experience in banking and trading applications (SARIE, SADAD, WATHEEQ, OMS, GTEXCHANGE).
  • Good knowledge of underlying infrastructure domains (Unix, Oracle, Network firewalls iDMZ and eDMZ conversation matrixes, information security).
  • ITIL / best practice service management.
  • Ability to work in a high pace environment and virtual teams.
  • Experience managing stakeholders’ communications and relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (focus on Computer Science).
  • Arabic language to communicate with business partners and regulators.
